Katy Perry is suffering from a very bad influenza. The flu bout has made Perry very weak and she has taken to bed. She has asked her fans to pray for her health. Perry said that she needed her fans’ prayers to get well and kicking in order to start off well with her European tour dates which are scheduled for 22nd February lining.

‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer who has recently been seen with Paris Hilton’s ex-beau, Benji Madden is very busy with her prior commitments. Perry had to leave her London home to attend the Brit Awards which has possibly brought back her weakness. She is suffering badly at present.

Perry wrote on her website that her hotel room “smells like death”. Perry is picking herself up because she has to. She is reportedly doing everything humanly possible to get well for her upcoming dates and other engagemnts. She writes, “I can’t tell you how bad I feel right now. Last night I was sweatin’ it out… I have the doctor on speed dial if the fever gets over 101/102. I thought I was invincible and then my body decides to show me otherwise. I’m stuck in bed for the next couple of days as I should be… I’m gonna go back to sweatsville and try and sleep it off some more…I gotta get better; I’m starting (a) tour on Sunday here (in London)… so say a little prayer if you think of it”.
