Finally Chris Brown issues his statements. After a week, the 19 year old singer issued his first official statements of the incident and his apologies. Chris is said to be under severe counselling. Chris has also revealed that he is seeking counselling of his pastor. He said that he is deeply regretful of his behaviour but he is striving hard, “…with God’s help, to emerging a ‘better person’…”

Singer Chris Brown has come out with his apologies galore after a week long drama surrounding him and Rihanna. Chris who had fled the scene, came out with saddened statements.  Rihanna is said to have broken off with Chris. The couple were a happy one until everything turned upside down. They were reportedly planning to get married. But Rihanna finds it best to have broken off with her violent beau Chris.

He is ‘remorseful’ and utterly saddened by his behaviour. Chris had reportedly attacked a woman believed to be Rihanna. The identity of the victim was not disclosed by the investigating officers then. However several media organizations and police sources revealed that th victim was indeed Rihanna. The 19 year old singer was reported to have left a Beverly Hills party with Rihanna as his passenger on 8th February, 2009. The incident occurred shortly afterward. 20 year old Rihanna suffered bruises on her face and a split lip, according to several reports.

Brown has apologised for his alleged attack on pop girlfriend Rihanna. He issued a statement saying: “Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counselling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones. Much of what has been speculated or reported is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say.”

Brown was arrested a week ago in Los Angeles over “horrifying” injuries suffered by Rihanna, 20. He was released on bail. The R&B star was arrested and charged with making criminal threats after reportedly assaulting his then-girlfriend last Sunday.

Chris has denied that he has ever since written out on any public forum or platform. He insisted that the blogs claiming to be his own are to be regarded as ‘frauds’. He saidFacebook writings were hoaxes, adding, “While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds”.

Chris Brown’s career is on stake. The 19 year old can face jail term if he’s found guilty of beating up Rihanna. Till then Brown can dream of becoming a ‘Better Person’.
