Miley Cyrus has been taking the news spaces for few days now. Miley has apologised and feels she has done her bit to appease her fans and all the Asians whom she might have hurt mistakenly. Miley also said that she had no racial intention whatsoever. She was amongst friends and all she did was have fun and nothing more to it was left for her to clarify.

Comedienne Margaret Cho has said that the images were disturbing and she was taken aback when the images first appeared in public. The Korean-American poured out her heart saying that she was ‘appalled’ by the image. Cho also revealed that she was still not quite satisfied even after Miley made two separate public apologies after the incident. Cho has penned a song (as a vent to all her feelings about the incident which has hurt her deeply like many others), in which she slams the Hannah Montana star.

However in another spicy add to the tale, a Los Angeles woman has filed a class action suit against Miley Cyrus, citing the reason that the teen star should make up for the damage done. Lucie J. Kim from Los Angeles has reportedly filed  a class action lawsuit on behalf of all Asian Pacific Islanders living in Los Angeles County. She clears out that she is seeking the hefty payout of $4 billion on behalf of the Asian Pacific Islanders.

Miley Cyrus, 16, is seen sitting on her boyfriend Justin Gaston’s lap surrounded by a group of friends all making a stereotypical gesture by pulling their eyes into a slanted position, in the controversial photo. The photo spreads a common attack which is thought to be grossly offensive to Asian Pacific Americans.

Comedienne Cho sings out : “I wasn’t necessarily a fan of her, her dad, or Hannah Montana I tend to prefer the songs of Rihanna Racism against Asians is simply bananas” She adds, “Oh Miley!Chinky eyes make you look wily Prejudice isn-t thought of so highly It doesn’t make us all smiley… All you have to do is pull at your face To make your eyelids resemble our race This kind of joke has no proper place Miley Cyrus is a disgrace!” The emotions are well caught in the comic song which is rather dark in meaning and sends a message.

Miley Cyrus had first apologised for the ill-intended photo, after the Organization of Chinese Americans director, George Wu, demanded she say sorry. Wu however was not quite convinced and suggested the singer/actress’ first statement wasn’t convincing,so Cyrus apologised again. On the 9th of February, Miley took to her website to issue a second apology.
