Brad Pitt says that he is not scared to grow old. He is already in mid 40s and has a loving family full of kids. Brad in an interview said that he often thinks and broods about how his life will come to an end.
The 45-year-old actor said: “I’m more afraid of how I’ll go. Fire and tight spaces don’t appeal… A shark would be interesting.” Brad’s recent film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ is a big screen adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1921 short story.
The film deals with a man (with Brad playing the title role) who is born with the physical (and total) attributes of an old man, and slowly grows back into a young child. Brad had recently revealed in an interview that he simply could not wait to grow old. He wanted to see himself more mature and intelligent than what he is now.
‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ also stars Cate Blanchett and has received 11 nominations at this year’s BAFTA Awards, with Brad named in the Best Leading Actor category.
Brad said that unlike other celebrities Brad Pitt was not scared of aging nor of his old age looks. He just added: “I like the wisdom that comes with age. I wouldn’t trade it for youth any day,” which explains why Brad loves to grow old and talk about his growing age.
