George Clooney
George Clooney has been reportedly approached by ER co-creator John Wells. Clooney had denied in March that he was headed towards a reopening at ER. But ER sources have revealed that the much coveted comeback is all kept under wraps by John.
Clooney’s Dr. Doug Ross was last seen on ER in a 2000 cameo walk-through in a remote lake scene with Ross’s ex-Juliana Marguilies. Clooney’s role in ER made women go weak in the knees. Clooney’s charm is to be cashed yet again if rumours and hearsays are to be believed. John has gone further to even keep a closed set for Clooney’s surprise return.
ER was a milestone in Clooney’s career. The series made him high and famous forever. His return is more than likely since he will be expected to remain indebted to ER which launched his career. Wells has plans to bring Clooney for the show’s last season. ER’s 15th season was extended by an extra four episodes by NBC executives last week.
George Clooney remains the most famous ER alum and Wells has always wanted Clooney’s return to ER.
