Amy Winehouse has laughed off rumours/reports of her causing havoc on the paradise island of St Lucia. There were several  reports which were circulated that slammed the British singer that she has ruined fellow holidaymakers’ vacations with her debauched antics. She has claimed and blasted all these reports saying all these reports were “ridiculous”.

Amy, the ‘Back to Black’ singer escaped to the paradise Caribbean island in December (08) following a month-long session at a London hospital after suffering a allergic reaction to prescribed medication.

There have been reports of Amy getting back to healthy life. There were several pictures circulated which showed Amy in a cheerful mood and a healthy body after a long time.

And despite the ‘Rehab’ hitmaker looking happy and healthy throughout the break, British tabloids claim the star has been pestering locals for booze and upsetting fellow hotel guests with her wild ways.

But Winehouse refutes the reports insisting she has simply been enjoying her holiday like any other young person. She tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “I’m certainly not out of control as some people have said. Yes, I’ve had a few drinks but I’m on holiday – I’m just young and having fun. “I’m getting loads of exercise, eating brilliantly and I’ve really beenable to relax. I wasn’t really eating properly before with everything going on around me, but its different now”.

She explains, “It’s a shame that people judge me on every picture someone sends back home, but I’ve grown to accept that it’s the price you have to pay…” “It’s sad, but what can I do about it? If I wanted a drink and they hadrefused to serve me there’s plenty of other places to go. It’s ridiculous”.

Winehouse plans to stay at the idyllic resort. She wants to make it her temporary home in a bid to shun her shambolic London existence. She adds, “I want a bit more peace and quiet, away from all those cameras. To me, I am in the best place I have been in ages. I’m looking forward to the future”, Amy ended all allegations on a happy and positive note and a promise for a better life ?
