2009 Oscar Presenters Not Yet Disclosed

According to a report by AP, Leslie Unger, a spokeswoman for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, declared that the names of the superstar presenters will not be announced before the February 22nd telecast. It has also been reported that Oscar producers Laurence Mark and Bill Condon are breaking their tradition. They hope to keep the TV viewers guessing until the curtains are unveiled.
Unger said on Wednesday, “There will be fantastic movie stars that appeal to a whole range of movie lovers and fans of our show. We’re just not going to tell you who they all are”.
All award shows, including the Oscar, typically boast celebrity presenters since it boosts the interest of many. The Oscars will air live from the Kodak Theatre on 22nd February. The names of the presenters will be kept secret until then.
