Patrick Swayze has blasted the media and rumour mongers who have spread the message that Swaye’s days are numbered. Patrick Swayze is furious and hurt at the “emotional cruelty” hurled at Swayze and his family. He felt that he and his family was fighting together so that his treatment bettered each day. But the recent reports of Swayze being on his “last legs and saying goodbye to my tearful family !” has literally saddened the “Ghost” star.

Swayze explained how aggressive a disease Pancreatic cancer is. “…from the moment I was diagnosed, I knew I was in for the fight of my life…For me, my family, and those close to me, it amounts to downright emotional cruelty. That makes me angry when hope is so precious.”

He further said, “The only thorn in my side being that many reports have been consistently reporting lies and false information about me and those close to me…” Reports of his death have also circulated recently.

The 56-year-old actor who is currently involved with TV series ‘The Beast’ said that he was strong and felt good, “…It’s a battle, and so far, I’ve been winning. I’m one of the lucky few that responds well to treatment…” Swayze seemed confident of his treatment and health. Patrick added : “I’m very proud of the work I’ve done on my new series ‘The Beast’, and I am happy to be back home for the holidays. It’s a great feeling of accomplishment to say you’re going to do something and do it.”
