Marlon Brando battled eating disorder. The legendary “Godfather” actor had bulimia. Brando’s personal assistant has come out with extraordinary personal details of the star.

Brando’s longtime personal assistant Alice Marchak has revealed that Brando used to gorge a lot of food and vomit it after taking the entire food. Due to his eating disorder he had to eat and vomit in secret. Brando did not want the world to know about his long kept secret. Marchak writes “We’d eat dinner and then Marlon would go to the bathroom and come back and order another meal.”

Brando had suffered from this disease his entire adult life. Marchak said that she discovered his bulimia after she found him passed out in a bathroom after suffering from a hemorrhage.

The new book by Alice Marchak revealed little secrets about the Late star. Her book claims that Marlon had a severe sex and drugs addiction. The actor died in 2004 at the age of 80. Marchak’s book says that Brando had to talk out his son from committing suicide. Marchak’s book also says that Brando had almost denied the role of Don Corleone in The Godfather in the initial stages. The reason for turning down the role was because Brando did not want to glorify the role of Mafia that he was offered to play. Alice Marchak’s book might just create a furore.
