Jada Pinkett Smith has come out with some hard truth about her family. She said that she never really could take to drugs as she had grown up watching first hand substance abuse by her loved ones. Will Smith’s actress wife revealed how destructive drug abuse can be on the minds of close witnesses. She suffered from the same after watching close family members taking to drugs and suffering from the cause and effect.
She says, “I saw my aunt and mother go through addiction, and how they went in and out of rehab. It affected me a lot.” Her personal confrontation has led her to abhor drugs or any form of substance abuse. She said that witnessing daily battles has structured her life in a different manner. Being a star herself she has never felt the need or the compulsion to fall back on substance abuse to handle professional pressure. She has never been taken into or tempted to try out any kind of addiction that hampers life and family.
Jada is presently a busy mother and a busy actor. “I’m a busy mum promoting two movies. That’s enough of a workout!” says Jada who is happily married to Superstar husband Will Smith.
