The popular Hollywood actor, Winona Ryder, fell sick while she was on a flight from Los Angeles to Heathrow Airport of London on Wednesday. Her illness prompted the airplane to execute a special landing.
Ryder was immediately rushed to a West London hospital “as a precaution”. She has been released after medication, her publicist Mara Buxbaum reported to the Associated Press.
“Winona’s fine now,” added her representative. She did not mentioned in details about the mystery illness smiting the actor. After Winona fell ill all of a sudden the British Airways flight from LAX to Heathrow communicated through radio that ‘a female passenger “required medical attention”’ to the passengers for priority landing shortly before arriving in England.
The flight representatives mentioned, “Our cabin crew looked after Ryder as much as they could onboard and our passenger services staff also accompanied her to the hospital. We wish her well”.
After the 2002 criminal offense condemnation for stealing from a Beverly Hills’ Saks Fifth Avenue merchandise worth of thousands of dollars, Winona tried to stay out of the limelight. Her two of the most unforgettable performances were in movies like “Little Women” and “Girl, Interrupted”.
