A hit group of local singers will perform the classic 007 theme songs at Aotea Centre on Saturday night, 22nd November. Their message towards the audience, “For your ears only, it’s the music of Bond – James Bond”.
The music of James Bond is made popular by the Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones and Nancy Sinatra, which will come alive again at Aotea Centre, in Auckland on November 22nd with a bang that would not just be a show but a promise to be as glamorous as the iconic Bond films.
Audience will be enthralled to see the its own Bond girls in Kiwi vocalists Tina Cross, Caitlin Smith, Rebecca Wright and Taisha. They will be accompanied by a 20-piece orchestra. The producer of the show, Tim Beveridge, said the event will be one to remember, “I don’t do things by halves – it’s going to be huge. I’ve been a big fan of James Bond for ages, I think it’s had the most iconic and well-known movie themes, spanning generations”.
From the music of 1962’s Dr No to the latest release Quantum of Solace, Bond buffs can expect all the old favorites, including Goldfinger, Nobody Does it Better and Live and Let Die as well as a few surprises.
