It has been confirmed by a representative of the star that Ashlee Simpson has given birth to her first child. The 24 year old singer and her husband Pete Wentz welcomed their first child, son Bronx Mowgli, together into the world.

Ashlee married  Pete, who is now 29 year old in May. It has been confirmed by the  Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center that Bronx Mowgli, the first child of the couple was born on last Thursday and weighed  7lb 11oz.

A representative of Ashlee said, “Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes”.

Pete, the Fall Out Boy rocker has lately disclosed that he had been seeking for parenting advice from Joel Madden, who has a nine-month-old daughter, Harlow, with his partner Nicole Richie. The singer added, “Joel gives me advice. It has been really awesome for me to go to another person my age”.

Jessica,  Ashlee’s older sister, said earlier last week that the singer of “Little Miss Obsessive”, Ashlee,  was trying everything to bring on labor. “Ashlee has been trying different foot massages and stuff. I don’t know. I think she’s really just jumping around trying everything right now”, Jessica added with a smile.
