‘Lakeview Terrace’ a new urban thriller will see Samuel Jackson take
a raw turn as a stern, straight-laced LAPD cop whose vigilance
falls short and crosses the territory when a newlywed couple
(Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington) moves in next door.He
is seen in the film as a Racial cop who intrudes the couple’s
wedded life and also goes further into disrupting their marriage,
the sole reason of which is his disapproval of their inter-racial
alliance.This generates tension and the couple will fight back
the intrusions.When asked about the current racial scenario in
American politics and also the present election climate in the U.S,
Jackson elaborated that “Like it or not, we’ve got a race that
centers on race and gender. It’s scary, but hopefully the country
will realize we do need change, and our perception of the world
needs to be upgraded.”

The superstar producer of the film, Will Smith joined forces with
Jackson the big Box Office star for their gala New York opening.

Will Smith saw to it that the premiere was a grand family
affair bringing along his wife Pinkette Smith and also Caleb Pinkette.

The stars found it to be a great experience working with
Will as a producer.Star Jones also came came along
to cheer for her friends.

Will further elaborated “It’s just such a powerful concept,
the idea of it, almost a reverse racism.”

When asked to talk about Samuel’s new avatar as a dark character,
Will simply added “Sam, that thing he’s got
in his eyes — it’s just a great concept.”
