The reigning teen queen sensation Miley Cyrus gave a live performance in front of a 60,000 strong crowd at the Stadium of Fire event in Provo, Utah. This event is considered to be one of the biggest 4th of July celebrations in the country. The event was telecast to American troops throughout the world.

Cyrus performed some of her greatest hits in front of the crowd along with some songs from her new album. She went onto dedicate “Simple Song” to the national troops. Miley Cyrus has made several appearances for charity including that in a local cancer hospital along with an impromptu performance in the fund raising attempt at the Alex LeVasseur Fund. The 15 year old star was however performing without her friend and fellow guitarist Mandy Jiroux.  Following the event the performer went back to Tennessee, where she is still filming for the soon to be released Hannah Montana movie. The shooting for the film is soon to be finished by the end of the month of July.
