California is witnessing a lot of Miley these days since she has been filming for the Hannah Montana movie round the clock. The hard working star however did not turn down a chance to perform in New York City on Good Morning America. Next Friday Miley is also supposed to give her fans an electrifying performance at the Plaza on NBC’s Today Show. All this is part of Disney’s campaign of giving the teen star as much publicity as they can before the movie’s release in early 2009.

The 15 year old  teen star entertained the crowd by belting out songs like “7 Things”, “See you again” and also went onto sing her new song ”Fly on the wall”. The shoot schedules for Hannah Montana: The Movie are in full swing and this keeps the busy Disney starlet on her feet. Sharing all the action with her include such stars like Heather Locklear,Vanessa Williams, Moises Arias, Rascal Flatts, Dolly Parton and also Taylor Swift who would be appearing in a cameo role in the movie.

The family comedy will portray how Miley Stewart’s life spins out of control because of her Hannah Montana image. This is when she decides to visit her roots in Crowley Corners, Tennessee following her father’s advice. Miley’s image has certainly taken a beating after all the controversies that have hit her one after the other. Before the movie’s release therefore Disney does not want to keep any stones unturned and is making the star perform in as many public venues as she possibly can while at the same time keeping her feet firmly on  the ground.
