Angelina Jolie
In what seems to be the casting coup of the year if finalized Angelina Jolie may be seen as Catwoman in the next Batman movie. The Lara Croft actress who is known for her action skills has shown interest in the role. Her latest action flick Wanted grossing almost $120 million has given her career an upswing that has made her a bankable star according to Hollywood standards.
On the other hand yester year actress Julie Newmar who had popularised the role after playing it in a 1960 TV series said that she would love to see the actress Playing Catwoman. If Christopher Nolan decides to revive the role who is actually the one true love of Batman there i surely no one in the industry that fits in perfectly. The character of Catwoman who is partly a lover and partly a villainess will definitly gather a lot of interest with movie goers worldwide.even though Halle Berry had tried to create the magic with her portrayal of The Catwoman the ineffecient execution of the film made it go down in the box office race. In related Jolie-Pitt news the first photos of the Jolie-twins have been reportedly bagged by none other than People Magazine. Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline photos have reportedly been sold for an amount between $10 million and $15 million.

Harry Potter Half Blood Prince
The clip of the new Harry Potter movie has just been released which gives a preview of intrseting snippets that are about to come to Harry Potter fans with the 6th film in the series. It portrays a young and decidedly very spooky lokking 10 year old child actor as Tom Riddle the grwing incarnation of one whi is to be Lord Voldemort.
Hero Fiennes-Tiffin who plays the young Tom Riddle has been applauded by director Yates for his intensity on screen. Coming from a family of actors has helped the young man and being actor Ralph Fiennes nephew acted as an advantage since he has a striking resemblance to his uncle Ralph who plays the grown up Voldemort in the film. harry’ nemesis in the film shows malicious tendencies from an early age and this had to be shown on screen. This is where Hero came in and helped to bring alive the character that would have been difficult to play by a 10 year old. In the clip just released we also see everyone’s favorite aging wizard at his best. he is trying to master the Dark Arts ion order to help Harry in the battle between the two forces. whether he is successful or not will be known only on Novemeber 21st.

Amy Winehouse Singing
Seems this Grammy Award winner is doomed to several visits to the emergency room. On Monday July 28th Amy Winehouse was again rushed to the hospital after she suffered from a reaction to her medication. She was taken to the University College Hospital and has been under observation since.
The 24 year old singer who has been in the news as much for her erratic behavior as for her music. Some days ago she had been admitted to the hospital after she had gone down with a chest infection. After spending almost 10 days in the hospital she was released only to continue treatment as an outpatient. Amy had since on the road to recovery from her ailments and started performing. So this sudden visit to the E.R. came as quite a surprise to fans. Winehouse is the only British singer to win 5 Grammy Awards in a single night. These were for her second album Back to Black.

Miley Cyrus
Even though her mother doesn’t approve of her tastes in guys Miley still wants to date someone who she thinks will be her dream man. Her perfect date would be tall and dark. At a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest on the KIIS-FM radio show, the Hannah Montana star reveals, that she would love to date a 16 or 17 year old Guitar player who loves Coldplay. However she should have some trouble convincing her mother of her choice. Cyrus has made a number of appearances on promotional shows for her latest album and also for her new movie that hits theaters in 2009.
The Disney star has always been in the middle of rumors and controversies, that have not reduced her popularity though. She still is the frontrunner among all the Disney wannabes including Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. A video posted on Youtube some months ago by Miley and her friend Mandy, spoofed Gomez and Lovato. Miley has since apologized for what she did and has said that she is “supersorry”. However she explains that it was not supposed to hurt someone and was meant as a joke. The video shows Miley 15 and her friend Mandy Jiroux 20, dressed as Selena and Demi. Even though the two disney stars have not made up yet Miley wanted Gomez to take the entire episode in the right spirit.

The Dark Knight poster
There are a lot of things that have been said about The Dark Knight. Many records have been broken and a lot of statistics have been redone. Last week the Christian Bale and Heath Ledger starer had yet again achieved another landmark in its successful box office run.
The Hollywood biggie that opened to audiences some weeks ago has created history in numerous fronts. Last week it earned yet another feather in its cap when the total earnings went up way beyond the $10 million mark. The movie has broken the previous record held by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest that had grossed $300 million in 16 days. The Dark Knights second weekend earnings are also without precedent even though there has been the expected 50 percent drop in sales that is usual in second week earnings. The Dark Knight will also break the previous record held by Shrek 2 that had reached $400 million in a week’s time. The movie is all set to grab the best statistics that has only been acheived by Titanic in Hollywood history. In related news Chritian Bale has been given a thumbs up by his Terminator Salvation director. The 34 year old actor has been called a passionate actor and a good family man. Bale is suppoed to attend the Tokyo premiere today.

Shia LeBeouf
Everybody’s resident comedian has messed it up real bad. The wannabe superstar and upcoming actor Shia LeBeouf slammed his truck onto another vehicle while he was driving with a female. The drunk driving collision occurred on Sunday night exactly around 2:45 p.m. According to eye witness accounts the truck overturned and Shia and her female friend were out of the ruck when the truck had gone down.
Shia has been booked for drunk driving charges and had to undergo extensive hand surgery. He plans to go back to filming for Transformers 2 within a month but the star has already wasted a lot of money of the production by holding up the shoot. His publicist confirmed that the accident had occurred and that the star would be returning to the sets of Transformers within a month. He had to undergo hand surgery at Cedars-Senai Medical Center where he had to be treated for knee and left hand injuries. The others involved in the crash including the driver of the other car along with a female friebd who was with Shia when his truck overturned. Shia LeBouf’s popularity increased from his Even Stevens days in Disney. The actor involved in such films like Eagle Eye, I-Robot, Diturbia and Transformers has a Day Time Emmy and a BAFTA to his credit. he has also been billed as the next break through star of 2008. However with his recent escapades and rash behavior Shia has to be careful so as not to mess up his career which is still in the initial stages.

Selena Gomez is not dating Nick Jonas as has been reported widely by tabloid rumor mills. Even though she has been seen around the brothers quite a few times also appearing in their video for “Burnin Up”. Selena and Nick were reportedly an item were supposed to have been dating for several months. However Selena makes it clear that she is not interested in dating any one of the Jonas Brothers. The 16 year old Disney Star reveals however that her real interest lies in Shia LeBeouf.
Selena admits that she has a huge crush on the Even Stevens star and wants to work with him on future projects. Fellow disney star and hot competitor Miley who has been linked to Nick Jonas before doesn’t want to be linked with anyone for now. She hates it when any guy she goes out with is made to be her boy friend. The Hannah Montana star is presently gearing up for a new milestone in her life, her 16th birthday. That is when she qualifies for a driver’s license. The Hannah Montana Movie is due to hit screens in 2009. The rivalry between Selena and Miley has been brewing for quite some time now. Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt Family
Were they so desperate to have babies that they went in for in-vitro fertilization for their twins? New reports according to Us Weekly suggest that Brangelina may have gone the artificial way since they were a little impatient to have kids as soon as they could. According to medical experts the chances of having fraternal twins at a later age is less than 1 percent. So it was close to impossible for the 33 year old actress to concieve the twins naturally.
However with artificial aids the chances are increased to almost 25 percent. According to the rumors the couple went in for the expensive procedure which can cost upto an amount of $12, 000 for every single insemination. The reason why the power couple may have gone through the medical procedure was becaues they did not want to deal with the usual stress of trying to get pregnant. Both Jolie and Pitt have expressed their desire to have as many kids as possible increasing their brood to almost 10 or 12. In an interview with Elle UK Angelina had stated that both of them wanted to raise their kids while they were still young. The birth of their twins Know and Vivienne in Nice, France had garnered tremendous media attention worldwide.

Jennifer Garner Pregnant
Everybody seems to be adding fuel to fire in the Jennifer-Ben second baby rumors. Former Alias actor, Victor Garber, let slip the coming of the second baby and then retracted his statement saying he had no idea of the supposed pregnancy. Before this another family member has unwittingly spilled the beans. The news came from Ben Affleck’s mother herself. Chris Affleck, while commenting on why her daughter-in-law and son were not attending a family wedding on 12th July at Cape Cod, said that Jennifer was not up for the travelling.
When pressed further for the real reasons she did inform the gathered guests about the coming pregnancy. In related news the couple have been praised by both family members and friends for their parenting skills. The 36 year old Garner has been called the “perfect mom” by owner of the indoor L.A. playground called Giggles N’ Hugs, Joey Parsi according to a report by People. The former Daredevil star Ben Affleck is also described as a devoted father who gushes over daughter Violet all the time. With both the stars enjoying parenting so much it has come as no surprise to friends that they are ready for their second offspring sometime soon.

Tom Cruise Top Gun
Dispelling rumors that Tom Cruise is set to return to Top Gun sequel, Paramount Studios announced that they have no plans on inviting the 46 year old actor. 22 years ago Cruise’s portrayal of the fighter pilot in Top Gun made the movie the highest grosser of the year catapulting him to superstardom.
The original movie was released in May 1986 earning as much as US$354 million worldwide. In the reprisal Cruise was reported to have been approached for the role of maverick who would now be the flight instructor at Top Gun School. He would be the one now to deal with a new arrogant female recruit. However as reports were doing the rounds the Paramount Studio bosses behind the project where quick to nullify the rumors. They have stated that there is “no way” that the super star would be signing up for the project that is still in the initial stages. Cruise’s spokesperson also went onto announce in Access Hollywood TV that he will not be returning to the sequel of the movie if it is made. This is not good news for thousands of fans of the film and the actor whose expecatations were raised by the previous gossip.

After being away from the promotion of his film The Dark Knight for sometime, Christian Bale was back doing his job. Christian was spotted attending the Barcelona premiere of his latest film The Dark Knight on Thursday evening after charges of assualt were leveled against him by his mother. The police however chose not to press charges against the actor and released him on Tuesday.
Christian was accompanied by his wife Sandra Blazic at the Barcelona premiere. He did pose for the photographs however avoided any questions that were directed towards him. As rumors have it the brawl between mother and son was because of the wife. It was because of certain things that were said about Sandra by mother Jenny that kicked off the fight on Sunday evening. This blew the lid and the actor went ballistic and lashed out at his mother and sister. The actor is currently filming for his new movie Terminator 4. This is the first movie in the franchise that would not feature Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead. The actor has been reported to have lost his temper on the sets of the film too.

Brad Pitt has warned legal action against those who would try to print photos of the family since this takes away their right to privacy. This announcement comes after some photos were circulated on the internet.
With tremendous pressure from the media and hightened public scrutiny of their lives the parents of six had chosen France because of the strict privacy rights that the country offers. They also chose the vine yard estate in order to make sure that they are away from the intrusion. They will be spending the whole summer at Chateau Miraval in Provence. The pictures that were taken by the photographers according to Pitt’s lawyer Yael Holtkamp were illegal and punishable by law since they took away the couple’s right to privacy. The tabloid agency that was responsible for the photos were served a notice with a cease and desist order. The agency has supposedly agreed to stop selling the photos and have also removed them from their own website. The photos were circulated on the internet on 21st July and show the whole family having fun . They feature Angelina and Pitt playing with the kids and Brad’s parents are also there.

According to Christian Bale’s attorney the actor has denied the allegations that have been made against him by his family members. Christian Bale, star of the blockbuster The Dark Knight, that is breaking all records, was arrested in Belgravia on Tuesday. This was in response to a written complaint made by his mother. An alleged incident took place between the star, his mother Jenny and sister Sharon.
The Dark Knight star was staying at a hotel before going to The Dark Knight premiere on Monday evening. The actor was questioned and then released on Tuesday. What exactly happened is subject to conjecture however the family is being tight lipped about it. Gossip suggests that the feud resulted from the actors mother abusing his wife. On Tuesday Bale came in to report his side of the story. He left the police station only after he had aided the officers with the legal case. No charges are being made against the star as of now but he needs to return in the month of September for further inquiries on the case.

The Jonas Brothers are looking for a place of their own in the Northern Texas region since they want to settle down in their own place. The local newspapers are going crazy reporting the teen stars latest buy in the neighborhood. They have taken up stop in a six bedroom estate in the area of Vaquero.
Denise Jonas mother to Kevin, Nick and Joe was given the POA on June 12th so that she could close the deal. The new property according to latest news is a cool $2.8 million. The famous threesome has been spotted in the neighborhood a few times. They are however not spending as much time as they would like to in their pad. The band is busy on their Burning Up tour all this month, with several appearences scheduled to come up in the next few months. Coming up is a much awaited performance in the MTV Video Music Awards alongwith the Kristi Yamaguchi’s annual Friends and Family Ice Show. With its growing popularity Fashion Rocks has inspired a Movies Rock concert where artists perform age old classics. A Fashion Rocks magazine is also supposed to come out at the same time.
