Get Smart is about Maxwell Smart a secret agent who tries to save the day by fighting the evil KAOS. Actors Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway star together in this laugh riot. The movie is an adaptation of the well known comedy television series of the 1960’s by the same name that spoofed the secret agent genre. Mel Brookes and Buck Henry well known comic writers of the times gave the series a great boost along with Don Adams playing the funny man cold era-spy. Produced by Warner Brothers pictures the film releases worldwide this summer on June 28th.
Steve Carell seems well matched to the character of the lovable, know-it all Maxwell with some spy-tech gadgets and a partner to match. Giving him company is the smart but dangerous Agent 99 played by Anne Hathaway of The Princess Diaries fame. Other cast members in the movie include names like Terence Stamp, Dalip Singh also known as “The Great Khali” and Masi Oka playing the chief and Dwayne Johnson playing Agent23.
